Work alongside Extension Master Gardener
Volunteers to take care of the plants at the Outer Banks Arboretum and Teaching
Garden, a 4-acre public garden with walking trails and demonstration
gardens. Tasks may include raking paths,
watering plants, weeding vines, clearing trails, picking up deadwood, and/or
removing invasive plants. Tasks will be
matched to volunteer’s interests and abilities.
Wear close-toed shoes and dress for gardening work. Insect repellent is suggested. Bring a reusable water bottle.
