Did you know that July 5th is the dirtiest day of the year for our coastlines? After the July 4th fireworks fade, our beautiful beaches are left covered in trash and firecracker debris. Here are 3 ways you can show our beaches some love:
1. Attend our Clean-Up Event
Come grab bags, buckets, and gloves, and hang out with the crew.
When: July 5th at 10AM-12PM
Where: Bonnett Beach Access - Sign up!
2. Clean Your Adopt-A-Beach Access
To our incredible Adopt-A-Beach members: this is the big one! Please grab your crew and head out to your designated access point on July 5th. The post-holiday rush means your spot will need your care more than ever.
3. DIY Clean-Up (Anywhere!)
Can’t make it to our main event or your adopted spot? No worries. Head to your favorite local beach stretch, and pick up whatever you see. Every single piece of plastic removed matters.
Let's turn the dirtiest beach day into our biggest win of the summer. Grab a friend, pick your pier or beach access and see you on the sand!
