Dare County Cooperative Extension is 5 staff and over 90 volunteers working to make the best community better through a myriad of projects and program offerings.
What We Do
NC State Extension extends research-based knowledge to all North Carolinians, helping them transform science into everyday solutions that improve their lives and grow our state.
Here in Dare County we offer 4-H Youth Development, Family Consumer Sciences and Horticulture Programming. Dare County Extension Master Gardeners are housed within our Horticulture program.
