Who We Are

Interfaith Community Outreach (ICO) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting individuals facing temporary emergency crises. Founded on the belief that no one should face hardship alone, ICO works to bridge the gap during moments of instability by offering timely support rooted in compassion, dignity, and community partnership. Our mission and vision guide every effort as we respond to urgent needs and walk alongside neighbors toward stability.

What We Do

ICO accomplishes its mission through a network of programs designed to meet immediate and short-term needs during times of crisis. Our outreach includes - Temporary Emergency Outreach - Cancer Outreach - Veteran Outreach - Disaster Outreach - Sound Minds Mental Health Outreach - Home Rehabilitation These programs allow ICO to respond to a wide range of urgent situations while remaining flexible to the unique needs of each household. By collaborating with local agencies, faith partners, and volunteers, we provide direct services to Dare and Currituck County residents when support is needed most. Our work is fueled by volunteers who assist with client intake, home rehabilitation projects, administrative tasks, and fundraising. Their time and dedication help ensure that individuals and families do not face an emergency crisis alone.
