Who We Are

We are dedicated to sharing out unique history, providing educational opportunities, enhancing the quality of the visitors' experience, and preserving the beauty and tranquility of The Elizabethan Gardens.

What We Do

Get Involved: “How Does Our Garden Grow? Through Volunteers of Course!” We love volunteers of all abilities and interests! Perhaps you would like to work with our horticulture staff and brush up your gardening skills or contribute your own expertise to us? Or maybe work in the nursery/plant sales to keep our plants healthy and help others learn about gardening? And then there is much to be done behind the scenes too: event prep for special events including Eastertide, Autumn Ale Faire, Night of 1587 Pumpkins and WinterLights. Perhaps being part of a planning committee or soliciting donations. We also welcome volunteers in the Gatehouse and Gift Shop to greet guests, check-in stock and answer lots of questions. And families are welcome to volunteer together too! Perhaps you will find something that interests you on our Volunteer Page, or complete the form on our website and we can contact you about what suits your interests.
